BOARD FOR Hydraulic Arm of Mixer Truck
BOARD FOR Hydraulic Arm of Mixer Truck
Since late 2016, our company has proudly undertaken a new challenge: the control board project for the hydraulic arm of a mixer truck. This marked our first venture into this specific category of PCBs, and we welcomed it with enthusiasm and determination to deliver high-quality results.
Project Highlights:
This PCB is highly specialized and comes with strict process control requirements — even a single fingerprint is unacceptable during assembly.
PCB Specifications:
-
Layers: 6-layer board
-

Assembly Details:
-
Component Procurement: All original brands to ensure high-quality standards
-
Minimum Component Size: 0201 (over 10 types)
-
Tallest Component: 35 mm connector
-
Panelization Limitation: Due to the unique design of parts like Y7, X8, Q3, and C4, paneling is limited to one PCB per panel
-
Equivalent Parts: Not permitted
-
BGA: Not present on this board
-
DIP Component Handling: Pins are trimmed to match final product dimensions
-
Chip Soldering: Solder bridge exists between chip pads
-
LED Components: None
-
External Components: Yes
-
Component Angle: Standard orientation only
Assembly Challenges and Solutions:
A major hurdle was the strict no-fingerprint policy, which conflicted with the need for manual soldering of large connectors. Wearing gloves interfered with solder accuracy and increased the risk of cold solder joints, while bare hands risked leaving fingerprints. Our engineering team resolved this by increasing the board’s edge width, allowing for handling without touching the core area.
Product Function Overview:
This control board manages the operation of the mixer truck’s hydraulic arm. It keeps the arm active even when the vehicle is in standby mode, enabling better use of idle time to improve operational efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions.
Market Outlook:
This product targets a new generation of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly mixer trucks. As more governments and industrial users in developed nations adopt such vehicles, the demand for this type of control board is expected to grow significantly.
Final Note:
Detailed product images are shared below, showcasing our exceptional PCB manufacturing and soldering quality. Our production processes follow ISO9001 standards. For BGA designs, we offer X-ray inspection to guarantee soldering precision.
Welcome to discuss your project with us — professional service is always our pride.
